It is currently hard to say where Spyral ends and where it begins, but there are some solid facts:
- Underneath Arkham Asylum there is a secret facility used by ARGUS to test experimental methods of detainment, capture, mind control and other illegal technologies and methods.
- At first the Pyglets and Rose Walker were contained and supervised by Amanda Waller when she was with the DEO, but after five years the project was transferred to ARGUS. The Pyglets were kept under Arkham Asylum.
- Amanda Waller uses Arkham patients as the scientists. Among them are: Lazlo Valentin, Barton Mathis and Mathilda Mathis.
- Lazlo managed to clone a Pyglet (or possibly his own stepdaughter), creating a baby with a stable genetic sequencing which tested likely for a psionic aptitude. Under Waller's orders, the clone was kept in a chemically induced coma, subjected to psychic programming and hormonal treatments to accelerate her aging.[1]
- Victor Fries built cryo-stasis chambers for the facility.[2]

- In 2014 Andrea Beaumont was tasked by Amanda Waller to investigate the Court of Owls.
- Spyral is brainwashing superheroes. It's using Red Kryptonite, Jervis Tetch's mind control techniques, and Lazlo Valentin's help.
- The Tobacconists' Club has ties to the Court of Owls.
- In 2016 Andrea Beaumont made contact with Helena Bertinelli and convinced her to help find her parents' true killers - the Court of Owls.
- Helena Bertinelli was kidnapped by the Phantasm on October 31st, 2016.
- Dick Grayson was kidnapped on December 31st by the Phantasm while undercover in ARGUS.
- Helena and Andrea took Dick Grayson to Arkham Asylum and exchanged him for William Cobb.
- Helena captured the Outlaws on July 3rd, 2017.
- Talon escaped and was seen operating in August 2017, helping villains in fighting the Terrible Trio.
- Andrea recruited the Terrible Trio to fight the Court of Owls.
- Amanda Waller sent the Suicide Squad to a compromised Spyral facility where Roy Harper and Donna Troy were brainwashed. Cheshire saved the Outlaws and told them Amanda was behind it.
- Amanda Waller works with the Court of Owls. Lincoln March visits Amanda Waller and asks her for results.
- Amanda Waller, Helena Bertinelli, Rupert Thorne and Whisper A'Daire had a meeting in the Tobacconists' Club.
- In August, Amanda Waller, Vesper Fairchild (Renee Montoya in disguise), Lincoln March, Oswald Cobblepot, Rupert Thorne, Bruno Mannheim, and Carlton Duquesne had a meeting. Penguin, Duquesne and Rupert Thorne's weapons smuggling operations, CRIME and Sons of Barbatos weapon deal, experiments on young superheroes, OMAC project are all connected.
